MDR Cyber Security and TI Analyst (Level 2) reporting to the Head of SOC & MDR.
Main Purpose of the Role
The analyst supports security monitoring, incident handling, threat hunting, and root cause investigations within the Managed Security Services division. The role acts as an escalation point to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client information assets. Analysts are expected to stay current with emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities and contribute to incident response activities.
Minimum Experience & Education
- University education preferred.
- Broad knowledge of security technologies and products.
- Experience with:
- EDR/XDR
- Sysmon
- Antivirus technologies
- SIEM platforms
- Security analytics and log sources
- Understanding of malware, attack vectors, threat hunting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with IT operations, hardware/software architecture and security domains.
- ITIL experience in a SOC environment.
